What documents are needed to register a company in Oman?
Typically passport copies of shareholders and managers, a power of attorney if someone acts on your behalf, the articles of association, a lease or flexi-desk agreement and, for corporate shareholders, the parent’s registration certificate and a board resolution approving the Omani entity.
Do foreign documents need embassy attestation for Oman?
Documents issued abroad, such as parent-company certificates and powers of attorney, usually need attestation or apostille and sometimes Omani embassy legalisation. The checklist marks which documents need attestation so you can start that step early.
